  16.    Shareware distributors (and diskette vendors) may distribute copies of the
  17.    software package provided that:

  19.     1. All of the files are distributed together and without ANY changes.

  23.     3. No charge is made, except for a reasonably small fee for media and
  24.        handling.

  45.    send a letter containing the company name, mailing address, the name(s) of
  46.    the person(s) to contact (such as the disk librarian), and the name of the
  47.    program for which the request is being made.

  49.     To keep receiving automatic updates, vendors must also provide a copy
  50.    of each new catalog in which the software is listed.

  88.    VIz is a memory-resident program to accelerate screen display in character-
  89.    based (text) modes for SVGA, VGA, EGA, HGC, MDA, or snow-free CGA adapters.
  90.    VIz can also provide two additional, independent residents:  One to display
  91.    a block cursor, either continuously or alternating with a line cursor at an
  92.    adjustable rate of alternation (to facilitate localization of the cursor in
  93.    some laptop screens); and another to provide an ANSI filter that implements
  94.    ANSI-escape, video command sequences, and that can be toggled on or off.
  95.                                                                               
  96.    VIz can be installed as a single- (accelerator), dual- (accelerator/cursor)
  97.    or triple-module resident (accelerator/cursor/ANSI filter), which uses less
  98.    1 KB, about 1 KB, or 1.5 KB, respectively.  VIz can install itself directly
  99.    into a block of the upper memory (UMB) via an extended memory manager which
  100.    supports the UMB services of XMS 2+, or via UMB-linked MS-DOS 5+; a minimum
  101.    address can be specified to select (or avoid) a given UMB region.  The size
  102.    of the UMB is that of the resident and not that of the entire program.

  104.    The resident can be modifed on the fly by executing VIz with new parameters
  105.    from the DOS command line (or batch file) or via the DOS enviroment. VIz is
  106.    fully transparent, and neither accelerates nor hinders graphics modes.
